Bonnie Hill

from Loving In Stereo by Jungle

about

Bonnie Hill is named after the place where the music was conceived. Originally the instrumental was developed before the 2nd album was released and something that had been sitting there for a while. It kept popping up and couldn’t be ignored. The late addition of flute and sax on the ending really brought the track to life in a completely new way for us.

Ultimately the feeling of the track centers around the highs and lows of human emotion. The track is intended to have a feeling of both night and day, The ‘sunshine’ being the light and the place where acceptance of who you are and what you feel is okay, set against the bridge, which is darker and more emotional in it’s harmony where a conversation of paranoia and fear are expressed. Both these sides to us are an important part of balance in life and that finding the balance is key.
